Closet Confidential Tag

The closet confidential tag was started by Fleur DeForce (www.youtube.com/user/FleurDeForce). I wasn't tagged because I have no friends but hey, ho, I'm going to do it anyway! The tag includes questions about items from your wardrobe. So, without further adue, here we go!

1. What is the oldest item you have in your wardrobe?

The oldest item that I have in my wardrobe is my Boy London jumper. It isn't that old, maybe a couple of years now, but I do throw out a lot of my clothes regularly if I'm not wearing them anymore and this was one that I kept. The reason I kept it is purely to wear around the house as I wouldn't be caught dead wearing it these days because I'm not 12 and or Danielle Hunt. I'm also trying to get as many black clothes as I can so that I have an all-black wardrobe for the winter and at the moment it works as a nice filler for that.

2. What is the newest item in your wardrobe?

The newest item that I own is this little Yin-Yang necklace that I bought from a festival around a week ago. It has little pully-knot-thing's (I'm 87% sure that that isn't the correct term) on the necklace string so that I can adjust the size and wear it either really long or like a choker. It wasn't very much so I just thought it would be a cute little souvenir to remember the festival by. I bought a mood ring too, but I lost that in the drunken blur that the weekend was, lol.........moving on.

3. What's the most expensive item you have?

I didn't buy this so I'm not sure as it counts but it was a gift off of my Mum's boyfriend and it's this vintage John Weston real leather bomber jacket style biker jacket. It's quilted on the inside and doesn't fit me amazingly, so I don't wear it that much, but for cold nights it's fantabulastic. I really haven't got a clue how much it cost but I think that he said it cost between £100-200.

UPDATE: It looks really tacky and shiny in the photo for some reason?! It's actually matte!

4. What is the cheapest item in your wardrobe?

I have a plain black tee that only cost me £2 or £3 from a charity shop, somewhere. I wear it pretty much all the time, but I can't find it right now! Instead, I have a Navajo style shirt that I bought at a festival for only £5! I loveeee it. I wear it over-sized and will probably never get rid of it. I bought a Hawaiian shirt too, at the same festival which cost me £5 as well! Bargain.........!

5. What was the biggest bang for your buck?

This question basically means what have you gotten the most wear out of and what you wear the most etc. and it's definitely my denim jacket that I got at River Island about 2 years ago. It still fits a treat and I'll probably keep it forever until I get my hands on a new one. It's amazing quality and cost about £40-£50. It isn't that rubbish denim that loses its shape after five wears, either, so it's definitely a bang for my buck! It's at my friends house at the moment but here's a photo of me wearing it from before.

6. What was the biggest waste of money?

The biggest waste of money (although, it wasn't actually expensive) is this red zip-up hoodie that is more common than a girl wearing a bowler hat in a girl group on X factor. I don't actually know what went through my head when buying it but its disgusting and I couldn't hate an item of clothing any more than these. I probably would wear it if it was black but its in such a horrible, Primark-esque colour that they cheapen every single outfit possible. I think it was around £20? Please do not feel cautious about wearing one around me. I'm actually not trying to insult anyone who has one (because lets face it, who doesn't have one). I know that they're practical and they do what it says on the tin but fashion-wise they are they just are not me at ALL.

I hope that you enjoyed this quick tag post! :-]
